Everything was great, including staff and rooms, its strong wi-fi. Our bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was newly remodelled and huge. The location was beautiful, for example, Lead Deadwood Arts Center was within walking distance of the hotel.

Overall experience was great. The room was super spacious and clean. Loved the big comfy beds and there was good hot water pressure in the shower. Other guests were friendly too and the staff were really helpful with whatever we needed. Breakfast was actually pretty decent, eggs and stuff were tasty!
The tv in our first room didn't work and took a while to get to our new room. Some areas could use an update because they feel a bit old.

This is what you're really getting
A quiet retreat just outside the bustle of Deadwood, this lodge surprised me with its well-constructed rooms that ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The shuttle service makes getting to downtown effortless, and while the breakfast offers decent options, consistent quality seems elusive. It's a comfortable stay worth considering if you're passing through.

nice stay but could improve amenities
The room was spacious and had great mountain views. The toiletries offered were above average for a hotel, especially the lotion. The breakfast spread was well-received by my family, particularly the variety of options available.
The fitness center was smaller than expected, limiting morning workout options.

The Standard Queen Room with 2 Queen Beds was pretty comfy. The beds felt nice, and I liked the little extras like lotion and makeup wipes. Breakfast was a highlight for my daughter, and the hot tea was a nice touch for me. Location was super convenient for getting around. No major complaints-just a chill stay.

Loved the comfy beds and the location near Deadwood was a bonus! The hot tubs were a good touch after a long day of exploring.
But those pillows were smaller than my hope for breakfast variety-let's just say they need some serious puffing up!

Really enjoyed the hot tubs for relaxation! The room was spacious and clean. Could use more towels at breakfast, though.

missingWrote a review on 21 Julresponsive staffcomfortable bedsdirty sheetsleaky toiletpoor vacuuming
Upon arrival, the cleanliness was disappointing. Sheets were dirty, and we found a toenail fragment on one. The toilet in our first room leaked, necessitating a room change, but the overall maintenance left much to be desired. Allergies flared up likely due to insufficient vacuuming. The staff was responsive, but the discomfort overshadowed any positives.

The location was fantastic for exploring nearby attractions, and the room was both spacious and clean. The hot tubs were a good addition, perfect for relaxation. The shuttle service could definitely use more stops to cover additional areas. It was a pleasant stay that exceeded my expectations.
